We’re a family-owned and operated farm in the Texas Hill Country, where we’re learning, growing, building, and preserving a little more every season.
What started as a dream of living closer to nature has become an ongoing adventure in gardening, homesteading, cooking, and creating. From raised beds and GreenStalk towers to fruit trees, flowers, herbs, and vegetables, we’re working to build a productive and beautiful place that feeds both people and pollinators.
This blog is where we share the journey.
You’ll find garden notes, recipes, preservation projects, farm improvements, seasonal harvests, and the occasional success, failure, or surprise that comes with growing food in Central Texas. We believe fresh ingredients, homemade food, and time spent outdoors make life richer, even when the weather, wildlife, or mystery plants have other plans.
Around here you’ll find four oversized farm dogs, too many gardening projects to count, herbs drying in the pantry, flowers in the press, mystery plants waiting to be identified, and a constant effort to turn fresh harvests into something useful and delicious.
Whether you’re interested in growing your own food, preserving a harvest, trying a new recipe, or simply enjoying a little Texas Hill Country lake life, we’re glad you’re here.
Thanks for following along as Jones Farm continues to grow.
